The Retreat of Shawnee loves our furry residents - cats and dogs are welcome! Two pets are allowed per apartment home. There are no weight restrictions, however, we do have some breed restrictions. The following breeds or variations of these breeds are not accepted: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bull Terrier, Terrier Stafford, Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler, Presa Canario, Cane Corso, Wolf-Hybrids or any other breed restricted by local or state ordinances and/or laws. We want to ensure that we provide a clean and safe neighborhood for all of our four-legged residents. To help with that goal, we are a proud partner with PooPrints! Upon move-in, each dog is required to provide a DNA swab.

In select apartment homes, there is a stackable washer and dryer. We also have three community laundry rooms. When viewing available apartments on our website you will see a washer and dryer listed as an amenity on the Floor Plans page if it's included.

Yes, our community offers flexible rent payment options through Flex. This service allows residents to split their monthly rent into two payments, helping them pay on time, improve cash flow, and build credit history.
